October 11, 1993

Today we went to the Provincial Nursery, it took an hour to drive to, down these little narrow dirt roads, very inaccessible.

 

October 13, 1993

Camie from Care America came to talk about gender roles, I really liked her, she was sharp, interesting and a very good speaker.

 

October 14, 1993

We learned a little about herbal medicine today. Seems to be a dying art, I would be interested to learn more about. We had a thank you party for our homestay families. It was fun, they made American “chick-a-bobs”.
